On-page Optimization is one of the very first step of search engine optimization (SEO). 1. Title: Title is very important part of the webpage. It should unique on each page of website.

2. Metatag: Metatag is also part of On-page Search Engine Optimization. It contains three parts Title, Description and Keywords.

• Title is very important part of Metatag. We should include our important keywords in this part.

• Description is snippet of our webpage. This tells summery of our site. So it should be written in proper way because if it is not written in proper way, then it is possible that we can loose some amount of traffic.

• Keywords are not very important, but we should consider it. Keywords related to our site should be involved in this section.

3. Keywords:

Keywords are very important factor of on page search engine optimization. Keyword can be a single word or phrase. Keyword Research is very important part of On Page search engine optimization. All the traffic business depends on it. So it should be done very carefully.

We should follow below step for choosing keyword:

· First of all you should study your site very carefully and decide what information/service/product provides your website.

· We should use Keyword Research Tools for Keyword Research. These tools are available free on internet. There are lots of Keyword Research Tool such as Wordtracker and Overture. By using this list you can select proper keywords for website.

· After passing all the phases of keyword research, you will get a list of keywords. After that you should write best and unique content for website, this will help your site to become a search engine friendly.

4. Keyword Density:

Keyword Density shows how many times your keywords are repeated in your content in natural way. If you have 100 words in your content and your keyword is repeated 5 times then it's mean keyword density is 5% in your content. Generally 4 to 6% keyword density should be maintained in the content in natural way.

5. Link Optimization:

Link Optimization is also a very important part of SEO. It is important to optimize

your internal & external links for search engines as well as to give visitors a

better navigation in website.

· Try to use good keywords in anchor text which gives proper meaning to the outbound link.

In ALT text or Alternate text we can use keywords to describe our image.

· File name:

For file name always use meaningful name. It can be keywords of our website.

Sitemap should be at the top of the page, so when any visitor will come at site, he can go directly the sitemap page and by sitemap page he can go any page of the site.

It is same with the search engine. Because when spider will come at sitemap link at that time it will crawl all the pages of website.

12. Google Sitemap:

The above sitemap is for visitors as well as Search Engine. But if you have Google Sitemap in your website then Google can easily crawl all the internal pages of your site. Google Sitemap is created in XML.

13. RSS:

RSS is stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is written in XML. RSS allows you to syndicate your site content. It defines an easy way to share and view headlines and content. It is also important for Search Engine point of view, because when spider will come at RSS link at that time it will crawl all the pages of website.
